Leather Spa® is seeking an experienced Office Manager – Bookkeeper to contribute to our growth and success. The candidate must have experience in accounting, payroll, human resources, and bilingual communication (English & Spanish). Additionally, proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office Suite, and a proven track record in improving operational efficiencies is a requirement for this role. Responsibilities:
· Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
· Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
· Knowledge of customer and vendor financial reports, including balance sheets, and income statements
· Payroll processing for 50 employees
· Manage and maintain office filing systems, including both physical and electronic files
· Manage QuickBooks data including (but not limited to) AP/AR and Payroll
· Support the day-to-day operations of the office
· Update employee manual and policies as needed
Requirements:
· 2 years of bookkeeping experience (Knowledge of QuickBooks REQUIRED)
· Proficiency in 10 key typing for accurate data entry
· Attention to detail and ability to reconcile
· Payroll processing and regulations
· 2 years HR experience
· Windows and Microsoft Office Skills
· Excellent Communication Skills, written and verbal, English and Spanish (REQUIRED)
· Must be a self-starter, quick-thinker, and have excellent time management skills.
· Can take the initiative
· Highly organized and can work with little supervision
COMPENSATION: The base pay range for this position is $67,000 to $73,000 per annum. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on several factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc. Full-Time Job On-site / Office Location Long Island City, Queens
