Our client is a woman-owned, boutique marketing agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to their content creators. As they continue to grow, they are seeking skilled Operations Managers to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on their operations while being creative and working with a talented and passionate team.
This is a flexible part-time contract role with potential to grow into a full-time position and requires availability to meet 2-3 times per week in Los Angeles.
Duties
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the company
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of employees, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Manage and oversee a team of contractors, ensuring timely and effective communication
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with team members regularly
- Schedule shifts and approve timesheets for payroll processing
- Oversee software management and ensure systems are up-to-date and functional
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Proven experience in people management
- Proficiency in social media management
- Strong background in process improvement, project management and influencer marketing
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with invoicing systems for payment is a huge plus
