We also focus on assets in already proven markets that are either underinvested or undermanaged.Job DescriptionThe Real Estate Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of a real estate portfolio or organization. This role involves managing property management teams, implementing efficient processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the profitability and efficiency of real estate operations. ResponsibilitiesProperty Management Oversight: Supervise property management teams, ensuring they effectively maintain and manage properties, including lease negotiations, maintenance, and tenant relations.Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for real estate properties, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies and best practices to streamline processes, reduce operational costs, and improve overall portfolio performance.Compliance and Regulation: Stay current with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations. Ensure properties comply with all legal requirements, including safety, zoning, and environmental regulations.Tenant and Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with tenants, property owners, investors, and other stakeholders. Address tenant concerns promptly and maintain high tenant satisfaction levels.Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on property performance, financial metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Use data analysis to make informed decisions and drive strategic planning.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, real estate management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Proven experience in real estate operations or property management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends.Exceptional financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective tenant and stakeholder relations.Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with software upgrades and updates.Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong background in process improvement and streamlining.Excellent problem solving skills.Additional InformationLocation: Los Angeles (South LA) on West Adams right off the Vermont exit of 10 Freeway.
