- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations.
- Helps ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Sales department.
- Maintain knowledge of all hotel services/features and hours of operation.
- Maintain complete knowledge in the use of all office equipment, computer, and manual systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of specified hotel information, correspondence, reports and files
- Perform miscellaneous support services, including filing, gathering information.
- Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate, some college
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Ability to provide legible communication. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to accurately compute mathematical calculations and use required measurement tools.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Minimum 1 year prior experience in Human Resources functions.
- Experience / knowledge of: State and Federal employment laws; workers’ compensation; unemployment compensation; FMLA; recruitment; hiring; and training.
- Previous training in the hospitality industry.
- Previous guest relations training.
