Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Medsurg unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, fellow nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in a timely and thorough manner.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during their healthcare journey.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care processes.
• Stay informed about the latest medical advancements and evidence-based practices in Medsurg nursing.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Medsurg nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
