Set Solutions, a Trace3 Company is working exclusively with a client looking for a full time Desktop Support Supervisor.

**Note that this position is not working internal for Trace3 but is full time dedicated to one of our valued end clients.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Supervisor with a background in healthcare to join our dynamic IT team. The Desktop Support Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the desktop support team, ensuring the efficient delivery of technical assistance and support services to end-users across our healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent technical expertise, and a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of desktop support technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and prioritize support requests, incidents, and service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and maintain desktop support procedures, documentation, and knowledge base resources to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, including network operations, system administration, and cybersecurity, to address escalated issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as software upgrades, system migrations, and technology deployments, providing desktop support expertise and guidance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in healthcare IT support, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in desktop support, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), and healthcare applications (EMR/EHR systems, PACS).
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with end-users, stakeholders, and IT team members.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team of technical professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
