The Clinical Manager in our Medicare-focused healthcare organization is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management of clinical services to ensure high-quality patient care while adhering to Medicare regulations and guidelines. This role involves supervising clinical staff, implementing best practices, and optimizing clinical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership:Provide strategic direction, guidance, and leadership to clinical teams, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Oversee the delivery of clinical services in compliance with Medicare standards and regulations.
Promote a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Medicare Regulations:Stay up-to-date with Medicare regulations and ensure that clinical practices and documentation are in compliance.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and address any issues or discrepancies.
Patient Care Coordination:Collaborate with healthcare providers, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care across different departments and facilities.
Monitor patient outcomes, review care plans, and ensure the delivery of appropriate services to Medicare beneficiaries.
Team Management and Development:Recruit, hire, train, and mentor clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
Quality Assurance and Improvement:Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and safety.
Lead and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Budget and Resource Management:Manage the clinical budget, allocate resources effectively, and control costs while maintaining quality care.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement for Medicare services.
Patient and Family Education:Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding Medicare coverage, services, and available resources.
Foster strong communication and relationships with patients and their support networks.
