We truly believe we have the best team that is motivated by providing the best service to our customers and each other. Role TitleManager Loss Prevention Job SummaryThe Loss Prevention Director is a strategic and hands-on role that is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to minimize operational and financial losses within Sendik’s. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of loss prevention, safety, sanitation and risk management, ensuring the protection of company assets, people, and brand reputation. We will be quick to respond to our customers and use “Red Truck Service” when additional assistance is needed Duties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive loss prevention strategies aligned with organizational goals.Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate loss prevention initiatives into overall business strategies.Serve as a working director to aid in review and monitoring of overall loss prevention measures and assessment.Foster a culture of awareness, integrity, and accountability within the organization.Evaluate, implement, and manage advanced security systems and technologies.Stay abreast of industry advancements to enhance the effectiveness of loss prevention measures.Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas of concern; including but not limited to floor walking, camera review/audits and interviews. Recommend and implement measures to mitigate identified risks.Oversee and conduct internal investigations related to theft, fraud, and other incidents.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policiesDevelop and deliver training programs to educate employees on loss prevention best practices.Foster a sense of shared responsibility for loss prevention throughout the organization.Lead the void and refund verification log process in partnership with store teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, human resources, and store teams, to address and prevent loss-related issues.Interface with external law enforcement and industry partners as necessary.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of loss prevention programs.Analyze data and provide regular reports to senior management on loss prevention efforts and results.Drive a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance loss prevention processes and methodologies.Assist in the stores during peak holiday seasons as needed QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field Strong knowledge of security systems, technology, and investigative techniquesMinimum of 8-10 years of related experience in asset protection, law enforcement or related experience Proficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel and Google DocsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsStrong sense of security and ability to handle sensitive informationExcellent attention to detailExcellent time management, prioritization and organization skillsAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient mannerStrong sense of team – ability to anticipate the needs of the teamTravel of up to 60% of the time Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
