Seattle Childrens Hospital is Hiring a Senior Director-Asset Management Near Seattle, WA

Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Provide a wide variety of engineering and maintenance functions that ensure a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ensure that facilities and facilities operations meet all Life Safety Codes and Health Care Codes.
  • Collaborate with the Planning, Design, and Construction department with coordination of space planning, renovation, and construction to assure timely design, on-schedule construction, move coordination, financial accounting, timely communication, and minimal disruption to Children's operations.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained in compliance with all applicable codes, inspecting agencies, Joint Commission or DNV.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor operating budget and projections required to address infrastructure maintenance and replacement.
  • Ensure building and engineering systems reliably perform to applicable medical design standards.
  • Participate in labor issues and union negotiations as requested by Seattle Children's.
  • Develop and implement a life cycle infrastructure management program with commissioning, predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related STEM area, or equivalent knowledge and training that demonstrates competency.
  • Five (5) or more years’ experience managing building engineering systems including but not limited to high-pressure steam boilers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or related systems and devices in a healthcare environment.
  • Five (5) or more years of facility management experience at a Director level or above in a healthcare setting.

Required Credentials:

  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager by the American Hospital Association (or the ability to obtain within twelve (12) months.

Preferred Credentials:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Certified Healthcare Constructor by the American Hospital Association or the ability to obtain within twelve (12) months.

Min to Max Hourly Salary

$94.70 - $142.05 /hr

Min to Max Annual Salary

$196,976.00 - $295,464.00 /yr

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
