SBS Group of Companies is Hiring a HR Admin Assistant Near Saint Paul, MN

SBS Group of Companies is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the HR department and assist in other departments as needed. This is an entry level opportunity offered between $20 - $24 per hour with a schedule of 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. If you're interested in considering a career in the HR field, this is an excellent entry level HR role to test the waters and learn from a team of other HR employees!

This is an in-office position with the potential to work remote occasionally if needed depending on department needs. 

Job Duties Include: 

  • Filing, digitizing and managing confidential paperwork and employee files
  • Creating identification badges and providing access key cards for facility personnel
  • Completing employment verification requests
  • Providing a welcoming employee onboarding experience for new hires
  • Participating in event planning and coordination 
  • Leading by example to help generate a healthy employee culture
  • Creating expense reports for managers
  • Processing form I-9's for new hires 
  • Sending new hire paperwork to employees before their start date
  • Data entry 
  • Other duties as assigned with opportunities to explore areas of HR you want to learn more about!

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent internal customer service skills
  • A safety focused mentality
  • The ability to maintain strong attendance
  • Flexibility to go to other work sites within the St. Paul area for in-person meetings, events and onboardings
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred, but not required!
