Ecolab is Hiring a HR Assistant II Near Saint Paul, MN

Summary: This position is for the Employee Relations & HR Compliance team and will be auditing I-9s of new hires in the Workday (HRIS) system as we work to transition to a new I-9 completion process. Once we are using the new process, this role will still be highly involved in I-9s but will start to take on additional HR Shared service responsibilities.

I-9 Administrator and Auditor

What You Will Do:

• Audit of new hire I-9s

• Work with the I-9 remediation process

• Reporting out of Workday

• Finalizing I-9s in the Workday system

• Be involved in supporting the team to evolve to new I-9 completion process

• Other administrative duties as assigned (for example, filing, creating reports, data tracking, following up with employees and HR Partners)

HR Service Delivery Specialist

What You Will Do:

• Gain a dynamic, diverse HR skillset and increased global perspective while elevating the employee, HR, and manager experience.

• Partner with critical stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and functional teams to support employees, provide information, and resolve cases.

• Work in a broad network of fellow HR professionals to support and grow our HR best practices to drive a differentiated employee experience.

• Partner with employees, managers, and centers of excellence to provide recommendations on process improvements and solutions to support employees.

• Create knowledge management to support employee direct access to information.

• Deepen knowledge of compliance, HR policies, employee programs, and other important resources for employees.

• Develop expertise in HR Solutions and Technologies to provide the best experience for employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-2 years HR experience required

• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of I-9s is strongly desired

• Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to keep information organized and confidential.

• Ability to work with technology systems and solutions

• Previous experience working in solutions like Workday, case management or customer service systems, HR Systems (Workday, People Soft), ServiceNow, Applicant Tracking Systems

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, business or equivalent.

• Proven employee relations and active listening skills

• Ability to interact with all levels within and across the organization

• Strong organizational, time and project management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines

• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, influence decision-makers and implement solutions

• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
