Savannah Country Club in Savannah, GA is looking for positive, energetic, and talented full time and part time servers for our restaurant and banquets.

Job Overview:

Servers must accurately complete Member and guest orders and requests in a timely fashion. Must be able to learn and maintain complete knowledge of the dining, specialty, and beverage menus while providing exceptional service. In addition to maintaining a positive attitude and friendly demeanor, the Server must always maintain a clean and professional appearance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide exceptional service to members.
• Greet Members and guests promptly while exhibiting a high level of hospitality.
• Provide food, beverage, and hospitality service to all Club Members and Guests.
• Keep service areas clean and organized.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the al carte menu is mandatory, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu, including knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available by the Club
• Know Members names and greet them promptly in a manner to provide a warm welcome and making them feel at home

Qualifications:

• Two years Server experience in a full-service restaurant, upscale restaurant, resort, or country club preferred. Banquet service is a plus. Bartending experience is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to different situations.
• Ability to work with all staff members as a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
• Continuous use of hands and arms.
• Continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Must have open availability, including Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Requirements:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and background screening.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have dependable transportation.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $6.55 per hour
