About Us: The Savannah Yacht Club is a private, family-oriented club located on the Wilmington River on Whitemarsh Island, in Savannah Georgia. We are dedicated to member satisfaction through superior service and quality facilities.

Summary: Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests at banquets, pool, and a la carte service.

Job Duties:

• Greet and acknowledge members and their guests.
• Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, and offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.
• Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Help set up and tear down dining room.
• Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary.
• Serves meals, places dishes by courses in front of each person.
• Presents the bill; verifying accuracy of prices, taxes, and other charges.
• Required to stand for long periods and walk, balance, stoop, kneel, etc.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• No tipping allowed
• Up to 30 hours per week
• Meal provided

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
