About Us: The Savannah Yacht Club is a private, family-oriented club located on the Wilmington River on Whitemarsh Island, in Savannah Georgia. We are dedicated to member satisfaction through superior service and quality facilities.
Summary: Maintain Clay and Hard Tennis and Pickleball Courts and Court Sports facilities.
Job Duties:

• Familiarity with clay court surface materials.
• Prepares tennis facilities for members every morning and afternoon using the facility checklist.
• Roll and sweep surface and clean lines of clay courts.
• Blows debris from surface of hard courts.
• Builds-up low spots, add clay to the clay courts.
• Keeps court tapes, nets, fences and gates in good condition.
• Blows sidewalks; empties trash from court, and facility receptacles.
• Ensures proper quantity and quality of towels at all times and takes dirty towels to the laundry.
• Maintains court coolers, ice chest and tennis shoe cleaners.
• Operates roller, blower, and other equipment needed to maintain courts.
• Maintain surrounding grass areas, eliminating weeds and pests.
• Ensures the facility is kept tidy, furniture is in place, and balls are picked up.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting, pulling, pushing and squatting.
• Frequent use of light machinery and hand-held tools.
• Frequent lifting and moving of objects.
• Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot and humid environment.
