The Sarasota County Tax Collector is looking for enthusiastic, kind and professional individuals to join our team. Full-time (40hours/week) positions with benefits are available. Excellent customer service skills required. Successful candidates will start at $43,380 ($21.00/hour) and can increase in the future to $57,000.
We seek staff who embody our motto Exceptional Staff, Exceptional Service. We encourage and promote a team-oriented work environment. New employees are provided technical training and assigned a mentor to assist them through the training process.
Applicants with excellent customer service skills and computer experience with a variety of programs are encouraged to apply. Proficiency tests may be administered as part of the interview process. The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 12:00 pm ET.
Those chosen for an interview will be notified by Friday, April 18th. Due to the expected volume of applicants, we will only contact those selected for an interview. First interviews will be held on Wednesday, April 24th in our Mid-County Office. If you are selected for a second interview, you will be contacted by Thursday, April 25th. Second interviews will be Wednesday, May 1st in our Mid-County Office.
This position will be located in our Downtown Sarasota Office and new employees must be available to begin work on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
