Asolo Repertory Theatre is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Sarasota, FL
- Manage and develop patron relationships with single ticket buyers and subscribers both in person and over the phone.
- Answer incoming phone calls to sell tickets and answer questions.
- Learn and use ticketing software Tessitura accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell and recommend ticket and subscription packages and special promotions.
- Assist customers with questions about productions, theatre layout, and seating.
- Accurately handle sales with credit cards, checks and cash in a fast-paced environment.
Previous customer service experience and excellent computer skills required. Theatre and/or box office experience a plus. Position demands professional etiquette and work ethic, attention to detail, excellent social, verbal and written communication skills. All applicants must be able to work with others, be self-motivated and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Up to 30 hours per week: some evenings and weekends are required. Business Casual attire. The position is seasonal through the beginning of June. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
