Key Position Desired Qualifications:

• In-depth Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth experience and a detailed understanding of configuration management practices. The candidate should be proficient in establishing and maintaining configuration baselines, controlling changes, and ensuring the integrity, traceability, and consistency of configuration documentation and artifacts.
• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline. Alternatively, possess equivalent representative experience demonstrating a solid understanding of configuration management concepts, methodologies, and best practices relevant to engineering and technical programs.
• Technical Proficiency: Exhibit technical proficiency in configuration management tools and software, such as version control systems, product data management (PDM) systems, and configuration management databases (CMDB). The candidate should have the ability to leverage these tools to streamline configuration management processes and enhance collaboration among cross-functional teams.
• Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with stakeholders across various levels of the organization. The candidate should be capable of articulating configuration management requirements, policies, and procedures to project teams and stakeholders and promoting adherence to established standards.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex configuration management issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions. The candidate should be proactive in anticipating potential configuration challenges and implementing preventive measures to mitigate risks and ensure program success.
• Change Management: Have experience in change management processes and procedures related to configuration management. The candidate should be proficient in evaluating change requests, assessing their impact on configuration items, and implementing changes in accordance with established configuration management plans and protocols.
• Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing configuration documentation, records, and audits. The candidate should be meticulous in maintaining configuration baselines, documenting configuration changes, and ensuring the completeness and correctness of configuration data to support program requirements and compliance.
