RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the general supervision of the Manager in Community Services, is responsible for the development of community resources, paid internships, and employment programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in conformance with agency mandates and expressed needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, Health Education, Psychology, Sociology or a related field, or a Bachelor’s Degree and (two) 2 years of work experience in a social service agency or a developmental disability agency.
OTHER
Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficient with the use of technology. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting; fast paced environment. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Position requires reliable and timely transportation to perform regular job duties on a routine basis out of the office. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for use of a personal registered vehicle with proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license.
STARTING SALARY
$28.80 to $31.67 an hour
