The Family Wellness Center of San Diego Center for Children is a multidisciplinary behavioral health program that provides an array of services for children, youth, and families across payers and settings. The Manager is a full-time position, responsible for FWC fee for services program oversight including, program development and implementation, fiscal oversight, staffing, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, outreach, and management of community behavioral health services. Effectively partners with funders and other agencies as necessary to develop and deliver services. Coordinates program staff to maximize utilization and quality of care. Directs program activities to provide services consistent with evidence based/informed practice, trauma informed care, and Children’s SOC principles. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Manages subordinates within the program for overall direction, coordination, professional development, and evaluation; Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws; Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supervises from a perspective of diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices.
