As we expand our practice to meet the needs of our community, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Full-Time Insurance Biller.

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and healthcare professionals. If you have experience in medical administrative support and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries

- Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and collect necessary documentation

- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records systems

- Coordinate referrals for specialist appointments and diagnostic tests

- Assist with medical billing tasks, including insurance claims processing

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow

- Provide general administrative support, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in medical administration is a plus

- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role

- Proficient in using phone systems and front desk software applications

- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience as a receptionist is advantageous
