We are a growing CPA firm in Clearwater. We specialize in corporate and personal tax planning and preparation, accounting, litigation support, CFO outsourcing, and other consulting services.
We are looking for an energetic, dependable and detail-oriented person. Some of the duties of the administrative assistant will be:
1) Managing the calendar of the firm president
2) Scheduling and confirming daily meetings and phone calls, in office and off site
3) Meeting directly with a client to set up follow up appointments when needed
4) Fulfilling requests for copies from clients and other outside advisors
5) Other related administrative functions such as answering phones, transferring calls and digital filing
6) Assembling federal and state tax returns for electronic delivery to the client.
7) Obtaining missing documents and other items needed for project work
The ideal candidate will:
1. Be highly organized and be able to multi-task.
2. Be very detail-oriented
3. Be flexible, as situations can arise and change very quickly
4. Have knowledge of the area for travel time purposes
5. Be technology-oriented and possess a working knowledge of the applications in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams).
6. Possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate by phone and email.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required. Previous experience in a CPA office is desired, but not required. At least two professional references are required.
We leverage many current technologies to help us serve our clients and are a paperless office. Experience with some/all of the following software applications is strongly desired: SalesForce Cloud, DocuSign, CCH Axcess, Citrix Sharefile, and QuickBooks Online.
