VP Business Development - Fixed Wing

The Business Development Division of Rolls Royce North America is seeking a Business Development Director for U.S. Naval Aviation Enterprise Business Development (BD).
The Naval Aviation Business Development (BD) Director is responsible for all BD activities and strategy development to drive U.S. Naval Aviation product sales and support growth for both USN and USMC. The position will pursue new opportunities in the areas of new product sales, marketing and mission support (to include all current Rolls Royce systems in the USN/USMC aviation inventory to include the V-22, C-130, E-2, P-3, T-45, MQ-8,MQ-4, MQ-25). The Naval Aviation BD Director will develop and execute the marketing and BD strategy for future projects including Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) and Future Vertical Lift (FVL) within the Naval Aviation Enterprise. Responsible for the customer call plans.

The candidate must thrive in an environment where they are responsible for the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits. In addition to building a qualified pipeline of opportunities, the BD Director will help shape customer requirements, translate tacit customer needs into actionable features, drive differentiation in Rolls Royce solutions and help create a compelling value proposition. The ideal candidate will have previously served as a business development manager and/or capture manager with proven experience supporting DoD customers. Specific experience in NAVAIR acquisition positions highly desired.
