French Brasserie Rochambeau is looking for talented prep cooks to join our team. With two kitchens on separate floors there is plenty of room to work and grow your culinary talents.
The successful candidate will play an important role in contributing to our guest satisfaction and accomplished goals.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Rochambeau is a two-floor restaurant, caf and bar serving contemporary French fare in a contemporary Brasserie style setting on Boylston St in the heart of the Back Bay.
