We are seeking an ACCOUNTANT on a part-time basis to help a privately held company with offices on the North Shore. The Accountant will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week onsite. The Part-time Accountant will be responsible for the following job duties: - Process Accounts Payable invoices by entering invoices, coding to the proper general ledger accounts and preparing payments for distribution - Create and post journal entries - Complete bank reconciliations - Assist with administrative duties such as filing, check deposits, scanning etc. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant Accounting Experience. Must be familiar with general ledger, AP processing, reconciliations and journal entries.Other qualifications will include:- Knowledge of Accpac is a huge plus- Knowledge of SAP is also a huge plus- Experience with payments systems such as Pinacle and Nexen is a huge plus- Proficiency with French is a plusThe Accountant will be expected to work 20 hours per week based on business demands. The schedule is flexible but should be worked Monday through Friday.
