A prestigious physician group in the Los Angeles area is seeking for a talented Senior Accountant to join their team on a remote basis. The Senior Accountant will support their clinics' month end close and financial reporting for their sites. This will include budget analysis, reconciliations, and healthcare revenue analysis. Additional responsibilities below:ResponsibilitiesGenerate monthly Financial Statement Package for assigned physician group with thorough analysis of budget variance.Prepare and post journal entries to their general ledger. Review accounting ledgers on a monthly basis to ensure that revenue and expenses are properly recorded.Participate annual budgeting process and prepare budget analysis reports.Complete equipment custodial duties for property, plant and equipment.Prepare monthly financials package utilizing their financial reporting system. Review the reports and ensure the accuracy of financial data.Assistance in identifying and developing necessary systems to ensure accurate, complete and timely accounting treatment of information.Prepare and maintain physician WRVU reporting.Completion of various special projects as assigned.
