We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will be pivotal in supporting the human resources functions of our organization, with a focus on project-based initiatives and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.Responsibilities:Project-Based Initiatives:Update and revise the Paid Time Off (PTO) policy to align with company goals and regulations.Review and update the employee handbook to ensure compliance with current laws and company policies.Assist in implementing a performance management plan, including the development of performance evaluation templates and processes.HR Maintenance:Manage the recruitment process for open positions, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions and completion of necessary paperwork.Coordinate offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring compliance with termination protocols.Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and providing guidance to managers.
