Job Description: Help Desk and IT Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Help Desk and IT Coordinator to support our rapidly expanding offices. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a collaborative team responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations and driving process enhancements. With a focus on delivering exceptional support and fostering efficiency, you'll play a key role in our business continuity and success.

This full-time, salaried position is based at our Lincoln Park office, with occasional travel to other locations across the Chicagoland area as required. Reporting directly to our Chief of Staff, with strong ties to various team members, we're looking for a candidate with a strong tier 1 troubleshooting background and some exposure to project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate technical issues and communicate appropriate actions and updates to management and customers.
• Document and track issue resolution, following up with stakeholders to ensure effectiveness.
• Develop supplementary documentation and training materials to facilitate seamless procedures across departments.
• Manage IT projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Collaborate with end users and staff, providing training and support on programs and proprietary software.
• Act as the primary contact for vendor relationships relevant to the position.
• Establish project milestones, track progress, and manage unforeseen delays.
• Prepare project status reports, analyzing information and trends as necessary.
• Provide tier 1 technical support, troubleshooting equipment issues, and escalating when necessary.
• Undertake additional duties aligned with company goals and mission.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.
