For over 100 years our client has supported the construction trades of the Quad Cities. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a customer-centric Customer Service (Health & Welfare) Representative to join this fun, family-culture, team which ultimately administers the benefit plans for employees and retirees along with supporting all member needs associated with claims, eligibility, plan administration.

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the realm of employee benefits? As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in this team which as a whole ensures members receive top-notch assistance with their pension, 401k, and health insurance plans.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Provide frontline customer service support, both in-person and over the phone, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to benefits plans.
• Assist members with claim issues, guiding them through processes and explaining complex information with clarity.
• Conduct data entry tasks including open enrollment, new enrollment, and updating member information.
• Process monthly HRAs, bi-annual wellness reimbursements, spouse premium reimbursements, and short-term disability claims.
• Manage administrative tasks such as sorting mail, alphabetizing claims, scanning, shredding, and assisting with large mailings.
• Collaborate closely with team members in a small, tight-knit office environment, fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.

Preferred Qualifications :
