Responsibilities of the Customer Service/Inside Sales Manager include but are not limited to: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market potential.- Lead and motivate a sales team, setting performance targets and providing guidance and support.- Monitor Sales activities, track performance metrics, and implement necessary measures to drive sales growth.- Coach and train new members of the sales team.- Foster a positive sales culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Stay updated on industry trends and sales techniques, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.- Coordinate sales projects to meet deadlines.- Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts.- Collaborate with the sales team to address client concerns, resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.- Foster effective communication between the sales team and other departments (e.g. logistics, accounting, outside sales).- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
