We might have the job for you, if you're a self-starter, and you combine a real passion for analytics with strong technical skills.What you get to do every single day- Arrange and manage account reconciliations/analyses for both balance sheet and income statement accounts- Supervise and drive external financial audits- Handle monthly financial executive package and control book to include budget to actual comparisons by department- Play an active role in the development of the accounting team by assisting in staffing, performance management, and trainingComplete financial statements and closes on a month-end, quarter-end, and year-end basis- Effectively prepare reporting packages on a monthly and quarterly basis and supply to Board meeting decksOther responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in system improvements, impromptu analyses, and special projects as assigned- Uphold policies for reporting and accounting- Conduct treasury functions to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner and cash forecasts are accurate- Provide GAAP mentorship for technical accounting, external reporting, and support to the Company
