This role involves overseeing payroll processes, managing accounts payable, and participating in an upcoming ERP conversion. You will supervise a team of 3. This individual will need some experience with payroll and willing to assist the payroll specialist with processing.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
• Overseeing and assisting with payroll administration.
• Supervising and managing the accounts payable and payroll team.
• Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
• Implementing and enforcing department controls, policies, and procedures.
• Processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and statements.
• Managing end-to-end accounts payable processes in accordance with company regulations.
• Auditing internal and external payments, and detecting any discrepancies.
• Training and mentoring accounts payable clerks and payroll clerk.
• Coordinating and reviewing the preparation of audit materials and financial reports.
