As we move towards our next big goal of nationwide expansion and introducing "delta derivative" products, we're looking for committed individuals to join our team and help drive our ongoing growth.

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an AP/Payroll Specialist. This role will be instrumental in supporting both our accounting and human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate will thrive in dynamic environments and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, so we're looking for individuals who are flexible, adaptable, and enjoy tackling new challenges with enthusiasm.

HOURS & LOCATION:

This role is based out of our Glendale, WI warehouse and part-time (20-40 hours per week). This position offers flexible hours and the candidate may determine their schedule between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday - Friday.

COMPENSATION:

  • $25.00/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor communication.
  • Support payroll processing, including data entry, timekeeping verification, and payroll reconciliations.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports as needed.
  • Aid in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and processing termination documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting and HR departments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or associated degree
  • 2 years in Accounting or Administrative work
  • Strong emotional intelligence skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
