Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Analyst to join one of our partners in managing the revenue cycle for the healthcare industry in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in the healthcare industry, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and reconciliation.Key Responsibilities:Billing and Invoicing:Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices for services provided to patients and insurance companies.Verify insurance coverage and process claims according to billing guidelines and regulations.Monitor and address any discrepancies or rejections in billing submissions.Accounts Receivable Management:Perform daily reconciliation of accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness.Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances, aging reports, and delinquent payments.Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.Identify and escalate any trends or issues impacting accounts receivable performance.Revenue Cycle Analysis:Analyze revenue cycle metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounts receivable and revenue cycle management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for enhancing revenue cycle efficiency and effectiveness.Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, billing standards, and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA).Stay updated on changes in reimbursement policies, coding requirements, and industry best practices.Audit billing and documentation processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.Systems and Technology Utilization:Utilize accounting software and revenue cycle management systems to process transactions and maintain records.Provide input for system enhancements and optimizations to streamline revenue cycle workflows.
