We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the construction industry. The role will be based in West Palm Beach, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various AP processes specific to the construction industry, processing invoices, coordinating check runs and ACH payments, and reconciling vendor accounts. Responsibilities: • Manage Accounts Payable processes specific to the construction industry• Process invoices accurately and efficiently• Coordinate check runs and ACH payments in line with project requirements and payment schedules• Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain detailed records of construction-related financial transactions, including job costing and expense tracking• Conduct data entry tasks in Excel to analyze and report on project costs, expenses, and vendor payments• Conduct regular reconciliations of vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to address AP-related inquiries and resolve payment issues• Assist in month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting for construction projects.
