The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Poway, California area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Your responsibilities in this role- Auditing all of the AP checks and ensuring the information is correct in the system, - Produce full-cycle A/P- Perform special projects as assigned- Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
