Description:
The HR Specialist (ER/LR) is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Central Office (VACO) Human Resources Service Center (HRSC), which focuses on the establishment and transition of human capital services for VACO. The primary purpose of the position is to provide support on various employee relations programs.
Open to current, permanent employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and CTAP eligible applicants only. This vacancy may be filled at any of the following locations: Albany, NY; Arlington, TX; Austin, TX; Eatontown, NJ; Hines, IL; Martinsburg, WV; Oakland, CA; Philadelphia, PA; Quantico, VA; Salt Lake City, UT; Shepherdstown, WV; Washington, DC; or Location TBD- Selected candidate must secure space at a VA or other government facility to receive an official offer.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Telework: VA supports the use of telework as a way to help attract and retain talented individuals in public service, increase worker productivity, and better prepare the agency to operate during emergencies. This position is authorized 50% telework and selectee will be expected to report to the nearest VA/government facility the remaining 50%.
