With a focus on compassionate service and professional excellence, they are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team and lead day-to-day operations, ensuring their continued success and growth.
The Role:
The COO will play a pivotal role in the organization, overseeing all operational aspects of the day-to-day business. This position requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in the health sector, capable of driving operational efficiency, financial performance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in scaling businesses, managing M&A activities, and leading companies through significant transitions or public offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of both Home Healthcare and Hospice organizations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for growth and efficiency improvements, including technology integration and business development initiatives.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, including budget management, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and compassion among staff, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to align operational strategies with overall business goals. Drive business expansion through strategic partnerships, M&A activities, and exploration of new markets.
  • Implement robust systems and processes to support scalability, including HR, finance, and IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a COO or similar leadership role in the healthcare industry, with a strong preference for backgrounds in Home Healthcare and Hospice.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations in healthcare organizations, with experience in small, medium, and large companies.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, financial analysis, and capital raising activities (preferred but not mandatory).
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Strategic mindset with an aptitude for problem-solving and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, employees, and partners.
  • Experience in M&A and corporate transactions is a plus.
  • Must have managed a team of 100 in-direct reports.
