Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified Design Assistant to join our National Merchandising team. The purpose of this position is to support the roles of Interior Finish Designers and Architectural Specialists through drafting, sample upkeep, and design support.
Responsibilities
- Support interior finish designers by drafting flooring and wall tile diagrams, assist with reselects, and help manage punch lists for models.
- Draft Sales Offices as assigned including layout, electrical, finish specifications and art layouts
- Draft model home layouts based on requested structural options as assigned
- Secure samples, organize and label based on assortment updates and divisional offerings.
- Upkeep tile diagram library in AutoCad
Requirements
- High school diploma required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of administrative/ accounting/business experience.
- Must be an extremely organized self-starter and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be flexible, detail oriented and efficient at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be very proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience utilizing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne a plus.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $48,000 - $55,000
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
- Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
