Sales Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and goal-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team and grow our customer base. Effective training methods are vital to providing our sales representatives with the tools they need to meet monthly sales goals. We prefer candidates who have at least five years of sales experience in the industry and a long history of success in prospecting and closing deals.

Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans

· Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow up with calls and meetings

· Establish sales territories and manage sales distribution

· Recruit, hire, and train new sales representatives

· Train current staff on effective sales strategies to attract new customers

· Research customer needs and requirements; implement new ideas and strategies to generate interest in sales

· Analyze sales data and recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue

· Prepare and present quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects

Sales Manager Requirements and Qualifications

· Administration or related field preferred

· 5 years of experience in sales, management, customer service, or a related field
