Responsibilities:

  • Monitor driver’s activity throughout the day to ensure deliveries are completed, productivity and safety measures are achieved, and any and all issues are resolved before end of day.
  • Communicates and updates PTW personnel with delivery details including changes, delays, delivery or pickup eta’s, and special dumpster drop location requests.
  • Monitor all transportation activities to ensure FMCSA and DOT compliance for both drives and vehicles.
  • Serves as the catalyst for maintaining customer, driver, operations, sales, and management satisfaction levels by meeting expectations without compromising safety or productivity.
  • Assist in obtaining and organizing compliance-related documentation for the Department of Transportation, Department of Natural Protection, and local municipal governments.
  • Work with operations and the business development team with onboarding, scheduling, and inputting new customer orders.
  • Assist accounting with invoicing and account receivables reports.
  • Plan and coordinate team calendars.
  • Perform other administrative duties, and support other team members as necessary, including taking and directing phone calls and reception.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work on tasks both independently as well as collaboratively as part of team
  • Related work experience preferred
  • College degree preferred
