Reliability Controls is expanding and actively seeking a highly motivated sales manager to cover our growing customer base across the gulf states, resulting in increases sales revenue, market share and profitability. Reliability Controls is a premier partner and reseller of industry leading products since 2016, focused on providing excellent customer support and helping our customers achieve their reliability and operating goals. Reliability Controls is looking for industry professional with 7 years’ experience in technical sales and proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals and sales plans. Background in selling condition monitoring technologies with a solution selling approach to identify customer needs and align products and services to achieve those goals is essential for success of this position.
The sales manager will support existing customer base and maintaining customer relationships, while also developing new and strategic business relationships within existing accounts and prospecting new customers within the assigned sales territory. Reliability Controls is seeking someone with entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales and proven track record of success, one who takes a hands-on approach to building business opportunities. This will be dynamic role where a motivated and skilled sales manager can grow without restrictions with a competitive compensation package.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage accounts and territory to ensure continued sales and profitable growth in existing accounts
- Grow in new accounts within the assigned sales territory
- Develop business plan within territory and manage to it, meeting and exceeding expectations
- Optimize business development plans by working with other sales mangers to maximize time and overall efficiency through development and prequalification of leads
- Develop quotations for solutions rather than point product sales, educate and develop customers
- Solution selling approach to uncover pain points and opportunities
- Provide quarterly forecasts against sales plan
- Research and analyze the market within assigned sales territory to identify opportunities, trends and competitive threats
- Ensure quality of sales transactions, review terms and deal dynamics to ensure the best outcomes for customers and Reliability Controls
- Technical review of proposals to ensure they align with customer requirements, with support from application engineering team
- Provide reports and feedback of competitive findings in the field to build a larger operating strategy within Reliability Controls
- Identify business opportunities outside of current products offered, driving growth and expansion to other product lines to grow market share within customer base
- Support events/trade shows as applicable
- Face to face customer meetings are expected, minimal remote meetings or as necessary
- Complete quotes and respond to customers inquiries in a timely manner
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- >7 years in technical sales in Oil & Gas, Power Gen and Industrial markets
- Technical knowledge of condition monitoring, reliability philosophies and solution selling for hardware, software and services combined offerings
- Familiarity and experience working in the nuclear industry is a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Self-motivated to work in remote environments
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively network into Customers’ management organizations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong relationship skills along with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Undergraduate degree in a technical or business-related area or proven experience and results
- MBA or other related advanced degree is a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision and Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to travel long distances in vehicles to visit customers across a large geographic territory
- The employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear
- The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Majority of time will be spent in Customer’s offices with occasional travel to the Reliability Controls headquarters in Spring, Texas. Occasional travel via plane to the respective product training and events will be required,
