Job Description
- Incident and Problem Management: Lead the response to high-impact incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication. Develop and implement strategies for problem management to prevent recurrence of incidents.
- Program Management: Plan, execute, and deliver multiple projects on time and within budget. Manage project scope, timeline, quality, and risk.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve reliability, performance, and efficiency of our systems. Utilize SRE principles to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, facilitating communication between stakeholders and the project team.
- Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of incident and problem management efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in tech program management, incident management, problem management, or SRE.
- Proven track record of managing complex technology projects with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and SRE methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- This is a 6 month contract position with potential for extension or conversion.
- While our preferred location is in Seattle, we are open to remote candidates outside the local area.
