Sr. Technical Program Manager
Client: Streaming Video Platform Company
Target Start: May 2024
Duration: 6 months (potential extension)
Work Location: Seattle, WA 98121 (3 days on-site per week)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
Pay Rate: up to $75/hr
Candidate Requirements:
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science (or related field) plus 3-5 years industry experience as a software developer or technical lead is required
- Good track record of working effectively with across different groups in the organization
- A record of successful delivery of software products from conception through business case and customer deployment
- Ability to work the business side of projects to drive deployment of new products
- An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
- Excellent written and oral communication
Job Description:
Apex Systems is partnering with a major Streaming Video Platform Company to hire a Sr. Technical Program Manager. The Demand Insights team specializes in sustainable and efficient business growth. You will be responsible for developing and managing projects that deliver efficiency improvements for operational excellence. The projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of security, performance, availability, and reliability. You will act as a bridge between the operational excellence organization and all internal services/teams that rely on our infrastructure. Other responsibilities include defining requirements, planning delivery, designing websites/wikis and features. The TPM will provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

The Demand Insights team leverage machine learning to predict future customer demand and to plan the infrastructure capacity required to support our most popular content releases and live events. We embrace the challenges of a fast paced market and evolving technologies, paving the way to universal availability of content and pushing the envelope of streaming video quality.
