Position SummaryThis position markets, promotesand sellsproducts manufactured and distributed by Reimers Kaufman Concrete Products to segmental retaining wall installers, interlocking paver installers and natural stone hardscape contractors. Abides by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. This is considered a full time, outside sales position for the company. Construction site visits required. There will be occasional Saturday hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maximizes sales and promotion of Reimers Kaufman products to hardscape customers.
Recruits and maintains new Hardscape contractors to expand customer base.
Develops a strong working knowledge of Reimers Kaufman products to service and meet the changing needs of hardscape contractors.
Develops an understanding of competitive products to have a working knowledge of the strengths and weaknesses of the compared products.
Develops a working knowledge of new products. Assists the Sales Manager with new product selection.
Completes ICPI and NCMA SRW Certification classes with the intent of providing contractor certification for installation of specific products.
Educates and informs contractors on installing retaining walls and pavers in accordance with ICPI an NCMA SRW certification.
Schedules, plans, and coordinates ICPI and NCMA SRW certification courses.
Assists with Watkins Hardscape Contractor Seminar.
Works with other departments (logistics, systems, operation, credit, etc.) to resolve any significant issues which may impact the sales process.
Attends and participates in all sales meetings, company meetings and other events as necessary.
Follows up with customer sources with timely and accurate updates to assure overall customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
