Talent Acquisition Manager (Work from Home Remote or In Office)
REPORTS TO: Director, Talent Management & Client Relations
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Real Time Consulting
is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our North Phoenix Corporate Office. This role will drive the comprehensive sourcing, recruiting, and placement lifecycle for Engineering project requirements. 
You will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition team and for managing the full cycle recruiting for crucial technical positions. You will also be responsible for full-desk delivery to meet this requirement, including sourcing, screening, coordinating Hiring Manager(s) interviews & meetings, compensation negotiation, job offer presentation, and supporting the pre-employment on-boarding activities until candidate is transferred to HR for on-boarding.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has both management responsibilities as well as full-desk technical recruiting responsibilities as outlined below.
MANAGEMENT DUTIES:
  • Drive consistency of the Recruiting processes to ensure hiring Manager(s) needs are met in a timely manner
  • Ensure identified recruiting process is followed consistently (sourcing, recruiting, selection, etc.) and discuss issues/changes/questions with Management
  • Apply high level of detail and compliance to RTC Recruiting and HR policies when communicating with candidates, Hiring Managers, and clients
  • Direct the Recruiting Team in proper processes for developing and maintaining requisitions, postings, and candidate profiles using the Applicant Tracking Software (ATS – Real Time Consulting uses CATS)
  • Guide and train the Recruiting Team to obtain full understanding of the requirements of each requisition
  • Lead the Recruiting Team with the prioritization and process of candidate sourcing
  • Collaborate with Management and implement Recruiting process and documentation requirements
  • Manage and maintain metrics related to Recruiting phases and related activities and results
  • Explore market best practices in the recruitment and staffing industries and strategize with Management on best practices and process improvement within the Recruiting department
  • Work with Management to develop and execute recruiting plans; conduct regular follow up discussions with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to determine the effectiveness of the team’s processes and results
  • Ensure department compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to sourcing, recruiting, candidate selection, export compliance, non-disclosure agreements, state restrictions, etc.
FULL-DESK TECHNICAL RECRUITING DUTIES:
  • Headhunt/recruit for technical engineering positions in a temporary/contract, temporary to permanent, and/or direct capacity
  • Develop and maintain requisitions, postings, and candidates using the ATS
  • Create effective partnerships with Hiring Managers that will ensure a full understanding of the requirements of their positions
  • Develop a network of candidates and referrals, specifically using social media
  • Utilize LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Dice, and other job posting and candidate-sourcing tools for building pipelines
  • Determine applicant qualifications by reviewing resumes, interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Organize and maintain candidate status and screening results
  • Manage candidate availability and tracking of candidates’ status using Excel and the ATS
  • Communicate job and candidate status to Hiring Manager(s) in real time using Excel trackers and written correspondence
  • Coordinate interview schedules for candidates based on Hiring Manager(s) preference
QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree PREFERRED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, HR, or related field a VERY BIG PLUS
  • 10 years of proven work experience in a corporate environment in a fast-paced recruiting role
  • 10 years knowledge and application of full cycle recruiting (sourcing, assessing candidate skills match, candidate interviews, compensation negotiations, closing the job)
  • 10 years knowledge of using ATS for sourcing and managing candidate process
  • 10 years of experience with using Job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Dice, etc.)
  • 5 years of experience leading other recruiting personnel
  • 5 years of experience recruiting for Technical positions
  • Experience recruiting Engineering disciplines is VERY HIGHLY PREFERRED (Systems, Software, Verification and Validation, Test, Mechanical, Hardware, Engineering Aides, etc.)
  • Experience recruiting in the Aerospace industry PREFERRED
    • In lieu of Aerospace industry experience, experience recruiting in Automotive, Medical, or Semiconductor industry a BIG PLUS
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Appropriate understanding of Human Resources (HR) applicable guidelines and requirements (appropriate language to use when corresponding with candidates; what not to say or write to a candidate)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with hiring manager(s) and peers regarding work processes 
  • Ability to individually analyze, follow, and guide personnel to follow the recruiting processes consistently 
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Highly polished verbal and written communication skills with customer service focus (treat candidates like a customer)
  • Ability to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work product
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing, entrepreneurial environment
