Performance is Hiring a Technical Recruiter Near Phoenix, AZ

Job Description:

Performance Software is a medium-sized company specializing in developing embedded software for the avionics and space exploration industries. We are a rapidly growing company with record profits and have been in business for 25 years. We have never had a layoff and have an extremely low turnover. Our Talent Acquisition team is looking for a junior technical recruiter to augment our staff. This position will combine sourcing and recruiting. Great team environment and our company is dedicated to a great work/life balance. You would work in our Deer Valley office one to three days a week and remote the rest of the week.

Responsibilities:

  • Source, identify, and engage top-tier talent in the field of software development.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and team dynamics.
  • Conduct thorough technical interviews to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of software development professionals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and recruitment best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from initial outreach to offer negotiation.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.


Job Requirements:
  • One or more years of proven experience as a technical recruiter with a focus on software development roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes, technologies, and languages.
  • Strong understanding of different roles within software development, from engineers to architects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to evaluate technical skills and assess candidates' potential.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for staying ahead in the tech industry.
