Upon receipt of an offer of employment, candidates must satisfactorily complete the required drug screen, physical, and background checks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices in ERP system (Vista).
- Validate vendor invoices against Purchase Orders.
- Ensure proper approval of invoices.
- Identify discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices and resolve issues by communicating with relevant individuals.
- Reconcile vendor statements against vendor open items.
- Manage and reconcile credit card accounts.
- Assist with month end closing.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
- Assist with special projects.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ experience in accounts payable or accounting related field preferred, manufacturing or construction industry a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounts payable process and general accounting knowledge.
- Competency in Excel and Outlook. Experience with ERP software helpful.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
- Organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Communication and vendor relationship skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Teamwork approach.
