Raising Cane's is Hiring an Operations Strategy Manager Near Plano, TX

At Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers®, our concept is focused and unique. We have only ONE LOVE® - quality chicken finger meals! Every talented Crewmember in our Restaurant Support Office (RSO) is integral to our success and a value to our rapidly growing company.

The Manager of Operations Support functions at a tactical and operational level, supporting projects that impact Restaurant Operations such as deployment & scheduling, throughput, Restaurant efficiency, and Restaurant performance measures. The Operations Strategy Manager will remain intimately connected with the labor model & how it is applied to deployment & scheduling so that they can Partner with Restaurant Excellence, IT, Compensation and Operations Leaders in the development, evolution and review of deploymenttools & training as well as fielding of deployment questions.

He / She collaborates at intra and interdepartmental level to ensure that the Operations Support Team functions at maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

The needs and requirements for the role, and of the person will change based on business priorities and assigned project responsibilities.

  • Restaurant Operations Background required with in-depth scheduling & deployment experience

Job Responsibilities: 

Leadership: 

  • Supports projects that do not fit within the organizational chart or fall between departments areas of responsibility
  • Maintains a thorough grasp of issues and details of each initiative to make evaluations and recommendations to the Operations Support Team
  • Maintains connections with key leaders, collecting data, alerting the Operations Support Team to progress or problems in carrying out initiatives 

Operations Analysis: 

  • Tracks initiatives by monitoring progress towards meeting goals and achieving benchmarks, analyzing data, ensuring follow-through on the part of key leaders, and sustaining momentum needed to drive each initiative
  • Maintains touchpoints with Operations arm of the business – Restaurant Leaders, Restaurant Excellence, Training, NRO, etc. so that the team can remain in touch with current needs, trends, and challenges
  • Maintains oversight of Crew trends in staffing, turnover, retention, training, etc.
    o Responsible for organizing all key data points, including all reliable information on what is happening throughout the organization
    o Highlights Company, Market and Restaurant-level trends so that Business Leaders can address opportunities
    o Assists the Director of Operations Support in delivering a reporting system that allows for a timely flow of Crew-related data to Operations Leaders 

Labor Model Management & Support: 

  • Assists Director of Operations in the development & maintenance of labor management tools – including excel-based labor trackers, Business Intelligence Labor Dashboard data, Deployment wheels, Deployment Charts, etc.
    o Remains connected with the Business enough to collect feedback on tools as business evolves so that tool can be updated as needed
    o Remains familiar with all labor tools & how they work together so that any Operator questions can be answered / and offer labor deployment guidance
  • Responsible NRO scheduling support for the first twelve weeks of business
  •  Manages execution of Crew & Manager Pars – ensures review & update of pars are completed at all levels of the business

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Business related field of study

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Proficient: Word, Excel & Power Point
  • Demonstrates capacity for gathering data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns and recommending solutions
  • Will work out of Dallas Restaurant Support Office located in Plano, TX
  • Travel as required
