As the Global Strategy Execution Program Manager reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Global Strategy and Global Leadership Team. You will work closely with the CFO and other senior executives to develop trust, constructive conflict, commitment, accountability and ultimately the results of this team – helping make the case for change and leveraging meetings, frameworks and workshops to do so.
To help improve effectiveness and leveraging your extensive knowledge of modern tools and processes, you will stand up strategic portfolio management for the enterprise, employing best practices to track strategic work and status, connecting the dots between different teams, including brand, operations, technology, supply chain, human resources, finance and the general managers of global business units. You will also be responsible for helping to define and monitor key Global Strategic KPIs to track and diagnose successful execution of strategy as well as standing up and managing global standardized analytics to better diagnose and define opportunities across the business. 

In addition, you will help define and drive transformation initiatives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the successful execution of transformation projects.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? 

Strategy Execution & Transformation 

  • Collaborate with the Global Leadership Team to help define new transformation initiatives.
  • Build out strategy execution portfolio management for the enterprise. Drive alignment of and decision-making pertaining to strategic and transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and measurable outcomes.
  • Define and manage robust processes, dashboards and deliverables to track progress, identify risks, and drive accountability for the successful execution of strategic and transformation projects.
  • Proactively support Global Leadership Team members as they execute the plan for each initiative to overcome barriers, solve problems, re-allocate resources, and adjust as needed based on internal and external factors.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, breaking down silos, and promoting knowledge sharing across teams and business units.
  • Act as a central point of contact, facilitating effective communication and coordination between departments.

Process Improvement & Implementation

  • Identify gaps and areas of improvement in current GLT and supporting business unit processes, workflows, and systems.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and tools to enhance leadership operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Champion the adoption of modern project management methodologies and tools to track work, status, and project deliverables.

Relationship Management & Facilitation

  • Develop relationships with the Global Leadership Team and other key leaders to build trust.
  • Facilitate key strategic and transformation workshops & discussions across the Global Leadership team and other senior audiences, in hybrid settings. 

Independent Leadership & Engagement

  • Take ownership of Strategic program management for Global Leadership Transformation, independently leading processes and routines and driving them to successful outcomes.
  • Work with the CFO and Strategy Director to get feedback and solicit input on ways to check and adjust. 

Administration & Reporting

  • In partnership with the CEOs executive administrator, chart out required support including meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, and document management.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status, key milestones, and performance metrics related to strategic and transformation initiatives.
  • Work with corporate communications to stand up any change-management communications strategy to support leadership initiatives and decisions, as required.
  • Define and implement standardized reporting and analytics to drive successful execution of strategy and uncover incremental opportunities. 
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

This position will work across Pizza Hut to drive Global Leadership Team Transformation & Effectiveness. Examples include:

  • The Global Leadership Team including Global BU GMs
  • Global Operations Strategy & Transformation Team
  • The CFO organization, including the Corporate Strategy Team

IS THIS YOU? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus. PMP certification a plus.
  • Background: 8 years of experience in business strategy, consulting, program management or finance. 
  • Strategic Problem Solver: You can zoom out to see the big picture and then zoom in to deep dive into the details. You can quickly identify the problem to solve, create a framework around it and then set it in motion. You are comfortable holding workshops in a Global environment to discover and define more complex problems. Knowledge of Human Centered Design and online whiteboarding tools such as Miro a huge plus. 
  • Get Stuff Done: You don’t stop at framing up the problem. You understand roadmaps, prioritization, project management and measurement are equally important to execution. You are adept at assigning roles & responsibilities and holding leaders accountable for results.
  • Experience with PPM platforms such as Monday.com or Smartsheet preferred.
  • Leadership: Ability to work with Sr. leaders. You build relationships, set a roadmap and shepherd others to follow it, having fun along the way.
  • Efficiency Always: You always search for better the ways of working including tools and bringing people together across a global organization. You collaborate with key cross-functional partners to ensure we are considering all the right inputs and have the right people at the table. 
  • Communications and influence: You create crisp, clear and concise communication - both written and verbal. You can influence without direct authority. You understand the power of internal and external communication channels to drive clarity and partnership. You leverage data and insights to make the case for change. You have a keen eye for detail. You are adept at creating executive presentations.
  • Thrive in ambiguity: You are flexible and agile. You welcome ambiguity as an opportunity to give shape and scope to problems.
  • Curiosity & Trust: You know that to learn, you need to ask questions and seek inspiration both internally and externally. You are inherently trustworthy and follow-up on what you say you will do. You possess a high level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
