Rain is Hiring an Event Marketing Manager Near Nashville, TN

The Sales Excellence team is building the future of sales at Rain. Our vision is to build the most productive and effective go-to-market organization in the industry and accelerate growth through a modern selling process. In this multifaceted role, you will contribute to the growth and success of Rain through the execution of impactful events, sales assistance, and strategic marketing by partnering with sales leadership and sales team members as well as key stakeholders in Revenue Operations, Partnerships, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to drive sales goals and advance the sales cycle. We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the role of Event Marketing Manager. This position will focus on managing both external and internal events and also provide support for sales and account-based marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management (50%):

- Plan, coordinate, and execute the company's presence at external conferences and trade shows as well as industry events. 

- Support the Partnerships team to project manage and coordinate events with our partners.

- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including setup, staffing, and promotional materials.

- Cultivate relationships with event organizers, vendors, and partners to enhance the company's visibility and opportunities.

- Analyze and report on the success of event participation, including lead generation and overall ROI.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and identify new opportunities for participation.

Sales Support (25%):

- Assist in planning and coordinating internal sales events, meetings, and trainings. 

- Handle logistical aspects of events, such as catering, audio-visual requirements, and equipment setup.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and engaging content for presentations, workshops, and discussions.

- Foster engagement with interactive sessions and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and services.

- Support efforts to evaluate the existing internal sales resource library, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and update as needed.

- Help socialize, distribute and maintain this content to empower sales users with the most updated and accurate information on products and services.

- Support the administration and maintenance of sales enablement activities.

Account-Based Marketing (25%):

- Support the development and execution of account-based marketing campaigns.

- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify key accounts and tailor marketing efforts to their specific needs.

- Partner with data analysts to monitor and report on the performance of account-based marketing initiatives.

- Assist in creating targeted content and messaging for specific account segments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

- 5 years working in event management, marketing, or sales, preferably B2B SaaS.

- Proven experience in event management and coordination.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficient with Google Workspace.

- Experience with CRM (Hubspot preferred)

- Familiarity with earned wage access or financial technology is a plus.
